We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and drive our telehealth initiatives forward.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Proficiency in developing and managing service agreements
- Experience with assessment and prescription of assistive technology and minor home modifications preferred
- Expertise in assessment of the client and their environment
- Experience working within the NDIS space with a solid understanding of its processes preferred
- Availability for casual hours from Monday to Thursday, with the willingness to take on low hours initially and grow with the role.
- Ability to drive business initiatives, including advertising responsibilities, and handling referrals promptly.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of the criteria for determining the suitability of cases for telehealth.
- Home Office Setup away from distractions
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the suitability of referrals for telehealth
- Fostering good open communication and collaboration among teams, leveraging everyone's strengths for optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilising advertising and Mailchimp experience to create engaging ads for external stakeholders.
- Creating and managing service agreements while demonstrating strong managerial skills.
- Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities and self-direction in delivering telehealth services
- Maintain clinical caseload
- Participate in supervision and supervise others as required in line with experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration
- Willingness to obtain WWCC and NDIS Card.
- Current Australian National Police Clearance
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of working with people with disabilities and the NDIS scheme is preferred.
